This is not a review for a movie...... but for a life history of a great man called "VEERASAAMY" , So plz read this review keeping all fun apart......Ive never written any reviews for a movie.... but this movie has forced me to do write one....
I went to this movie on sunday thinking that the theatre would be empty , but to my surprise it was full , and that too with youngsters... Thats when i got the feeling that this movie has a strong message...
The movie starts with Antisocial elements, this time its "RAVUSU" Rani, troubling the poor civilians and then suddenly a car suddenly goes 100 feet on top against the gravity of earth... then 4 ppl enter into a small house and are thrown away from all directions, the door opens and u can see the man himself , TR and theatre goes crazy... shouting and calling him thalaivaa, clapping and whistles all aroundAruvals and Kattais come from all directions and hit this man , but nothing happens to him (Thanks to the Graphics).. You must see his costume , its the same as wat dhanush wears in thiruvilayadal arambam and wat vijay wears in Pokiri.... but trust me , it suits this guy a lot better than the other two.....
And jus wen ppl think that only kamal haasan and vikram can change their physique for each movie...... our man does that tooo , he has shed 2 kios of weight , and wen everyone wonders where he had done that , we could see his famous "Thaadi"(beard) trimmed , unlike his earlier movies.... this makes him even smarter....
Then we can see our man fight like bruce lee.... jumping on the cars , running over them... break glasses and so on... at one point all the adiyaatkal ( poor guys) surround him and cover him up in all directions , jus wen our hearts beat faster(sathyama) and wen we think wats gonna happen next , he uses a different weapon thats never used before
in the history of Indian , even Hollywood Movies....... our man takes the "Tharaasu" ( Physical balance ) and uses
it to perfection, ofcourse not to weigh vegetables but to hit the bad guys and throw them in all directions...
We get a feeling that TR is playing the role of a Dada in this movie... , but to everyone's surprise ( trust me , i was surpirsed ) he is a lawyer and more than that he is the MLA of that locality.... This should the best twist in tamil cinema more than wat Vikram gave in Saamy and recently Vijay in Pokirri....
He is a very straightforward MLA and makes sure that he questions wherever wrong things happen and our man does with humour ,for eg :
1. A collector asks for bribe and tells a lady " weighta yethavathu konduvaama" and our man gets a big stone and places it in collector's hand and asks if this weight is enough
2. A traffic police constable stops a person for no reason and tells him , " Yethavathu konjam Vettu" , our mans comes there and cuts the constable's hand and says "Vettinathu Pothuma"
Wat a comedy , wat a comedy ......
he has a sister ,a lover gal mumtaz who is his neighbour and follows him alwayz.... and about 4 guys surrounding him to talk al good things abt him... the sad part is that "Lollu sabha" Santhanam is also in this gang and his talent has been wasted in this movie.....
Then comes the flavour of every TR movie.... a north indian guy who does not know to speak tamil , but is the hero of the movie.... this guy carries the same tag and looks like a perfect "AJAKKU".... This guy is the brother of "RAVUSU" Rani and loves TR's sister.......very unusual....
Our man is very attached to his sister and will do anything for his sister.... then there are a lotta dialouges like ,"Nee chinna vayasula irukumbothu , intha annan , unakkaga........" and so on.... TR has continued to impress with his emotional expressions in this movie too..... Not even kamal cud give a perfrmance like this.... the way he keeps his mouth open and turns his head in all directions except the direction where the person is standing and talkin to him.....
Wow wat a performance !!!!
Then comes the best of TR and this is something that he has never done before....... ROMANCE AND DANCE......
there are 3 peppy duets for TR and a soft romantic song..... The noteable point here is that this guy has done his best in dancing... .. every single person in the theatre appreciated it with loud laughters and clapping as this man danced like pabhu deva , even better than him.... and his costumes where superb ...... The Costume list included...
1. Full suit , not with a tie , but a bow2. Sherwani3. Tight half shirt with pants upto his chest and wonderful black and white coolers..4. Lungi and Baniyan
5. Sleeveless Track suit6. Ramarajan shirt and so on....
He had also given a wonderful performance for a "Tamil Kuthu" with a pakka banyan and lungi , with his undergarment visible...... u shud see his reaction ....man !!! amazing...... just like vivek tells in a movie.... "kai kaal muliacha kathirikai , but here its kai kaal muliacha Poosinikaai"
His Romantic expressions make us think that he should be just 30 years old..... He also dances with Mumtaj inside a tub filled with Milk.... warrae waah !!! He has Done excellently well in the romantic sequences....... Mumtaz even steals his SOAP as a extreme step for her love towards him and uses it ( UAAAGHHHH........... , nothing jus puking), then she cleans his slippers , sleeps with his poster and kisses his foto... and all nonsense happens.....
He has not failed to talk abt his son "SIMBHU" and his lyrics for a song also include his son's name..... then the area where they live is filled with Simbhu's cut outs and posters... even the bus stops..... There is also a sequence where in mumtaj tells a person tat " There is no ticket available for simbhu starrer SARAVANAA as its running houseful.... "
Maybe TR is showing his gratitude to his son , who has sung a song for him , YES , Simbhu has sung a duet song for TR in this movie........
Meghna Naidu has acted in this movie and she is used as a item number for this movie , unlike the other movies, the item number does not restrict to a single song , but comes through out the movie and gives u a feeling that uve come for a BIT movie , coz there are a lotta obscene scenes........
Then there is a sequnce where there is a "PAASA PORAATAM" between his sister and him.......... and again he has excelled in his expressions....Then a lotta TR dialouges.... including vulgar diagloues like " nee intha auntya correct panna use pannuva VIAGARA , naan vasanam pesa arambichenna athu MANOGARA" ... wat a comparison, HATS OFF.....,
There are scenes where he compares himself to Kamaraj , MGR and also SACHIN Tendulkar....... at this point the crowd loses its patience and started shotuing and abusing TR........ He even talks abt CM chair and also has words of praise for the current CM , kalaignar ... may be he wants to join with DMK again
To me there was only one dialouge that was THE BEST in the movie..... this comes twice or thrice in the movie...... its when TR asks " NAAN YELLAM MANUSHANAAA ??? ".... for this , the whole crowd gives the answer in a chorus "ILLADA.... KARADI"
There are a lotta twists and turns in the movie..... U really wonder , this man shud be directing a hollywood movie , wat a sequence of unbeleiveable incidents......... but only i liked it , coz the whole crowd was abusing badly ......
like , "***** padatha mudida" ," Mookai ^%$%$" and so on......
U shudnt miss the final fight sequence in the movie where TR , removes his dhoti and fights with his underwear , holding his dhoti in one hand and "ARUVAL" in another hand and perfoms a dance , ohhh sorry fight.... Extraordinary fight... he does a "RuthraThaandavam" , better than wat Vikram did in Pithaamagan climax.... wat a fight , we shud name it the "Underwear fight" after this movie.........
Finally , all good things should come to an end ....... Veerasamy is being questioned for his Integrity and this makes him feel so bad that he dies immediately.... ( he has a lotta hair and shud belong to the "KAVARI MAAN" jaathi) and so does Mumtaz who is in true love with him......
U shud see the theatre at this point , again TR has indirectly given a twist , when we expect tearful eyes and Silence all over..... the crowd bursts out and laughs as loud as hell (including me........ :) ) , everyone shouts and are happy that this movie is over and more than that , Veerasaamy is dead.... Ppl jump around in joy , give high fives , hug each other and leave the theatre happily.......
TR and the other cast have done a wonderful job and shud be appreciated for wat theyve done...... Excellent movie ..... , Now when the producers think of remaking "KING KONG" in tamil , they have the best actor in line for it..........
No one in this whole world can make a serious movie in such a comical fashion , think wat will happen if he takes a comical movie.... man!!! hilarious.... if u wanna laugh for all 3 hours , then this is the right movie... make sure u watch it
At last when all the fun is over and i come out of the theatre , A middle aged man asks me , "Is the movie good ?" , all i tell him is " Yes , its a wonderful movie and watch it today , coz u never know if the movie will be running in the theatre tomorrow......."
So friends , plz goto theatres ( u have to search for them) and watch this Mind blowing movie....... plz make sure that u make this movie a big hit , coz TR has promised to retire after giving a HIT movie.........
